Drawings from the Zoo



I spend three hours drawing animals in Copenhagen Zoo in my sketchbook yesterday with a bunch of collegues.

I love to draw animals, I just wish they would stand still every now and then. So I could get some details into the drawings.

Thanks for dropping by my miserable blog. I really need to update it more. Teehee. I tried drawing some flamingoes in the L.A. Zoo before but they came out horrible. I might scan it in and show it to you - we could get a good laugh out of it. Haha.

holey cats, erik! these are superb! now, why would you want them to stay still, when you've captured so much movement and LIFE in them, with just these quick yet very accurate lines? :))

There are few things I like more than a sketchy page of gesture drawings. Really nice movement here-- you've captured the essence of rhino several times over :)
