When art inspires - or life copies art...
When Kurt Westergaard drew his infamous cartoon of a bearded guy with a bomb in his turban in 2005 ... he didn't know, that his visual comment on "how somebody is using religion as their ammonition for the rage", would inspire the Taliban to copy his idea and use a bomb hidden in a turban to kill Professor Rabbani in Afghanistan.
Sometimes life inspires to art, and the other way around.

nine out of ten pilots fall a sleep while flying
I did this cartoon for annual Blæksprutte about this case: "Nine out of ten Danish pilots have made mistakes because of fatigue, and every other have fallen asleep in the air, shows study. Standup Commedian Thomas Wivel came up with the idea: "Become a pilot, the job is a dream"... Thomas and I met at a coffeehouse a while ago, and brainstormed together... he came up with the words and I did a couple of sketches in my sketchbook.
I turned in my 11 cartoons for this years Blæksprutte (The Squid = annual satire publication since 1881)... The book will be in stores 8th. of November.
