I recently attended a three day introduction-to-animation workshop with my fellow book illustration colleagues from the danish writers association. Bringing book illustrations to live seems to be the direction for the future, so it was great to be giving this opportunity to experience and hear what it takes to animate and what the different possibilities are.
I did this illustration for and article about the three day workshop, that will be printed in our membership magazine.
political cartoons, editorial illustration, book illustration, graphic recording, graphic facilitation, process visualisation and comic books

"Uhyret" (The Monster) illustrations for a story by Jacob Weinreich
I have just finished the illustrations for a little horror story of Jacob Weinreich, as I have illustrated the books "Det blev en far/ It became a dad" and "Krybet/ The Creep" for.
The story is about: A middle-aged man who has been haunted by horrific nightmares since his wife's illness broke out. As his wife slowly eaten up by disease, increases his nightmares about a terrifying monster that chases him around the housing block narrow basement times. He wakes up drenched in sweat - the nightmare is so real that it must be more than mind games. Therefore, he decides to get the janitor to help him search the basement, so he can stop the monster that haunts him.
Jacob Weinreich's short story "Uhyret/Monster" is in this year's "Læseraketten" from Ibis that will come out later this year to all schools in Denmark.
