Akihabara Electric Town in Tokyo
In Electric city (Akihabara) Tokyo I saw a bunch of these role-play girls, dressed up as maids, standing all over the place handing out flyers. They were kinda shy and didn't like to be taken pictures of .... but sketching them didn't seem to bother them as much.
Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo
I have sketched different people at the Tokyo Fish Market early in the morning.... some are checking out the quality of the Blue Marlins others are safety guards, visitors (like me). The Tokyo Fish Market is the biggest in the world.
Sanjūsangen-dō temple in Kyoto
I couldn't take pictures inside Sanjūsangen-dō temple, but sketchbook drawing was allowed .... so I tried to sketch as many different sculptures as possible within the 25 minuttes we had inside the temple. There were almost 900 scultures inside, many were identical thoughh ... so I picked the ones that fascinated med the most.
Shimogamo Shrine Kyoto
The third place I visited: Shimogamo Shrine .... huge and vermillion colored! I loved the fox sculptures and the gates.
Kinkaku-ji Temple/ The Golden Temple - Kyoto
This is the second temple I visited: The Golden Temple: Kinkaku-Ji in Kyoto. Me and my group of danish cartoonists were not the only danes visiting the temple that day, - the danish prince Joachim was there with his wife, princess marie, and a delegation.
Royanji Temple Kyoto
When I visited Kyoto late October I saw two Budhist temples and two Shinto Shrines. This is the first one I saw: Royanji Temple that has both a rockgarden and the Kyoyochi Pond.

sketches from Alte Pinakothek, Munich
Last Thursday I attended as a graphic recorder, a workshop for Siemens, which took place in the Freising near Munich. The day after I had time to take the train to Munich, so I could manage to see the world's largest collection of Peter Paul Rubens at the Alte Pinakothek before I had to go home by plane.
Besides an impressive collection of his works, there are also some pictures of Frans Hals, Hieronimus Bosch, Fredrich Dürer and many other great paintings in the old assembly.
To me Rubens is the origin of Superhero comics. When I look at his paintings it's like looking at an epic battle from a page in a Marvel Comic Book.
