Cartoons about the European Convention on Human Rights

Yesterday a show with 52 cartoons celebrates the European Convention on Human Rights is turning 60 years. The opening speeches were held by my chairman of the danish cartoonist Claus Seidel and the Minister for Development in the third world Søren Pind. The show will be up at the Royal Library (den Sorte Diamant) until mid april. I have four cartoons in the show and the specific articles in the convention I made my cartoons about were:

Article 3 prohibits torture, and "inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment"

Article 4 prohibits slavery, servitude and forced labour

Article 6 provides a detailed right to a fair trial

Article 8 provides a right to respect for one's "private and family life, his home and his correspondence"

Thanks for reading and please go see the show if you are in Copenhagen or/and visit the danish cartoonist website: http://caricature.dk/human_rights
