Management researchers Robert Goffee and Gareth Jones has identified four qualities that makes up the inspiring and authentic leader
1) Selective vulnerability - show your vulnerability = show your humanity.
2) Intuition - The leader is able to interpret more than just the hard facts - perceives the soft information and act on them in a timely manner.
3) Empathy - The leader is committed to his employees, but are also able to make decisions and act in the way that benefits the whole organistation the best.
4) Being an individual = The leader stands by himself and his positions
